This gives me hope. I usually swear off movies based on video games and vice versa, but damn, this gives me hope. Check out the rest of the article here at PC Gamer.

Star Wars collection at Seattle's EMP Museum
Hello fellow geeks! I just got back last week from Seattle where I visited the EMP Museum. I recommend it for anyone interested in Entertainment, Music, and Pop Culture and really, who isn't?
I'm sharing some pictures of the museum's Star Wars costume collection. It's traveling collection for look for near you in a few months. Lots of your favorite costumes and more than a few props thrown in. Enjoy! I'll posting some pics from the museum's great sci-fi collection next.
Our favorite bounty hunter and a selfie in the reflection |
The outfit that launched a million adolescent fantasies. |
Wedding dress made from an Italian tablecloth! No joke! |
Let the wookie win! |
The man that needs no introduction. |
This will be heresy to alot of people, but this was the most disappointing one on display. This is an original Stormtrooper costume from the first Star War and it looked really flimsy. I know that had to make alot of them and they looked great on film, but this one looked like you'd send it back if you bought it.
The old man himself and this one did not disappoint. It looks great!
That's all for now and stay tuned for more sci-fi updates from the EMP Museum.

Jayne Cobb's gun from "Firefly" and Serenity
As a follow up to my previous "unboxing" post of Jayne Cobb's gun, I now bring you the finished version!
And if it looks big and massive in the pictures, we'll that's because it is. It's a few pounds of solid resin and feels gooooooooood when held. I wanted to get a bit more creative with the colors and maybe try some antique brass in some parts, but the client wanted it "as is in the box art" so....I refrained from my more creative ideas.
If anyone is interested in purchasing one of your own, visit Geek House Creations.
