Sci-fi gun Pop Quiz....

Introducing one of our new items through this Geek Quiz: identify the two iconic sci-fi guns.

And why would you want Rey's blaster? Because if you're cosplaying Rey this year, everyone's going to have a bo staff, but how many people are going to have the blaster handed to her by non other than Han Solo?

Denix MP-40 with folding stock

This is the Denix German MP-40 reproduction available now at Geek House Creations. It's an amazing Denix replica consisting of mostly stamped metal construction like the original with a hard plastic resin handle and carriage. Comes with functioning folding stock and bolt with safety latch. Denix really did a nice job with this one as it feels absolutely fantastic with great weight and balance. The magazine comes slides in and out very easily. The folding stock is solid when extended and makes the gun much easier to aim. It's no wonder most WWII photos show German soldiers carrying the MP40 with the stock extended.

It's a surprising big weapon for a sub-machine gun and makes a nice compliment to the Denix PPSH-41 as they weapons were rivals in real life. The Denix PPSH-41 is also available at our site and features a beautiful wood stock.

Folding Stock

The German MP-40 is the most recognizable weapon of WWII. This weapon was used by all branches of German service but most well known as a favorite of the Waffen SS.This weapon was in many ways, the first modern machinegun with all metal stamped construction. Captured MP-40's was a favorite souvenir of American GIs and secondary weapon of Russian forces on the Eastern Front.

A Denix MAC-10 about to be packed off to be shipped

Too tired to post more tonight but this is what a typical packing day looks like here at Geek House Creations. I set everything on the table to start packing turned around and went...wait, this is a hell of a picture. I'm probably on like 40 watchlist right now, but hey. The MAC10 is going on sale tomorrow through my site and I'll follow up if anyone is interested. And...I'm excited that I'll be modding it to make the version from Escape From New York.

Denix British Sten MKII submachinegun video review and pictures.

Finally got some good shots of the Denix replica of the British Sten MK II submachinegun.

This is one of the most recognizable machineguns of WWII with it's size loaded magazine and welded construction. This is a great looking all metal replica that feels great and even has a few parts that come off and a fully functional bolt.

This gun would be perfect for anyone interested in WWII weaponry or Dieselpunk since it's not only chronologically correct but just looks the part of something you'd see in that setting.

WEBLEY MK IV BRITISH REVOLVER, WWI & WWII AND INDIANA JONES AND SHERLOCK HOLMES PROP

Here's one that will probably be of interest to alot of you. It's a replica pistol that easily crossover from Steampunk to Dieselpunk to just all around great accessory-- it's the Webley Mk IV British revolver. One of the iconic weapons of the 20th century and easily recognizable anywhere from Indiana Jones, The Mummy, and one of my favorite shows, "Peaky Blinders". Star Wars: A New Hope Obi-Wan Kenobi Light Saber and stand

Recently finished this commissioned 3D Printed Obi-Wan Kenobi Light Saber with stand. The stand has interchangeable name plates for the other famous sabers-- which I will be working on next. Luke's will probably be up next.

A set back and a new beginning for Geek House Creations

This past week was a bit of a rollercoaster for Geek House Creations. It began with a setback when I found that my Etsy store had been suspended for violating Etsy's rules on posting prop guns. In all the time, it took me to read a tersely worded email, my shop was history and I had to plead with the forces that be for them to reinstate my shop. Without going into too many details, suffice it to say that Etsy's infamous Integrity Team took exception to a few of my listings and suspended the whole shop. I finally got them to unsuspend my shop, but not before deciding that regardless of Etsy's ease of use and built in customer base, I didn't want to spend the next year or two building a shop that I ultimately didn't own and being at the mercy of some faceless Integrity Team. So the big news is that I'm moving to a new stand alone Shop site at www.geekhousecreations.com

This site will allow me to sell a wider and more diverse set of products, including the entire Denix line like this amazing "Mare's Leg" Repeater, without having to worry whether I'm complying with anyone else's rules. I'll soon be offering discounts, special offers, and perhaps even a contest or two. It's a bit daunting to start a whole new site with no built in audience and trying to convince my old customers to feel safe in the new site, but in the long run it will prove worthwhile for both my customers and myself.
